The objective in SpeedX 3D is to survive for as long as possible. Players must avoid collisions with obstacles or the side of the track. They can also collect bonuses during the run, and each race has its own unique features.

Multiplayer

The place where you can win other players’ Credits!

Here you can create a new challenge, place a bet, and if other players can’t beat your score, then you win their credits!

Or you can find an existing challenge, take another player’s bet, beat their score and win money that way too!

If you happen to lose a challenge and feel like there should be rematch, then go to Challenge History, tap on the lost match, choose rematch and create a new unbeatable score!

Leaderboards

Winning challenges will earn you points.

Increase the difficulty level for higher reward: Casual 1 point, Easy 2 points, Standard 3 points, Extreme 4 points and Pure 5 points.

Winning your own challenge will DOUBLE the final score.

Upgrades

Players can acquire upgrades to help them play the Single and Survival modes (at the Casual, Easy and Normal difficulty levels). Players can purchase upgrades (by unlocking them after completing a certain number of races in Single mode) using the in-game currency Credits (Cr). Credits are available via the Tapjoy offers network or in-app purchases.
Upgrades are either always available (i.e. additional shield slot) or may require activation. Tap the relevant icon displayed on left of the HUD to enable active upgrades.

Bonuses

Shield (orange spot)
Shields can be used to destroy obstacles. A single shield unit can be used to break cube obstacles, and two units are required to destroy beams. Shield strength will deplete over time and players can have up to three (or four with the relevant upgrade) shield units.
Quake (red spot)
Destroys all the visible obstacles when activated.
Time Dilation (blue spot)
Slows the game down and freezes all moving obstacles.
Space Fold (green spot)
Ends the hazard zones when activated.

Hazard Zones

Blackout
With this hazard the tunnel is rendered in negative colors and obstacle trails are not visible.
Gravity Well
Visibility with this hazard is very limited, vision is distorted and external forces are applied that prompt players to skillfully adapt their movements.
Dark Nebula
Blocks are rendered in negative colors and the tunnel intensity changes over time.
Hue Shift
OMG, it's full of... color!
Plasma Cloud
Players may encounter a plasma vortex here. A collision with this obstacle will use one shield (if available) and reset any bonuses earned.
